Firewater

Despite being a gin rather than beer girl, I was persuaded to the Dark City beer festival in Leeds. The proper beer fans were very tolerant of my beer selection methodology - look for the twinkliest brewer and ask for a recommendation. This led to toffee and banana beer, a long conversation about tattoos and a recommendation to go for tea at little Tokyo. The firebreathers turned up with no fanfare and quietly started throwing flaking batons and launching plumes of flame. Very random but great fun.
