The accidental finding

Sunset over Rodborough

My calendar app has been playing up. I now have two differenr versions on my.phone, and a wall calendar, heavily embellished. Think I might just get a paper diary from one of Stroud's many charity shops. I never had the "support is being withdrawn" problem with those items.

Gail and I, and another of G's friends, went to an afternoon concert at Nailsworth, with music being performed by the Bristol Ensemble. It was superb, my favourite piece being Vivaldi's concerto for flute, Il Gardellino RV. 428, in which the flute trills like a goldfinch. Well, not like any goldfinch I've ever heard, but still impressive.
Afterwards there was a superb tea, with homemade cakes. Gail and I are going back next month, for the Schubert concert.

Apart from that, I've been trying to catch up with my greetings cards business (many of my bestselling items are reprinting at present) and sorting out the storm in a teacup over WEA drawing courses. Oh, and I cooked a superb breakfast.
