I went to the cafe bar after work, once I'd done my errands, because I could not bear going home and then being back at the library less than two hours later, for the philosophy class.

After a coffee and a strange dish of eggs, sort of Benedict style, I went off to the library to set up. The final session, on Nietzsche, was most informative. I'd love to discuss more philosophy, but I will not miss the Monday evening rush, nor the complicated locking up routine at the library. I hope we will have some.of our newer philosophy members attending other WEA classes next term.

Back home, I eventually went to sleep, but could not sleep until after 3 am. That put the kibosh on climbing after work on Tuesday!
