Great Northern Diver

Wet, grey, dull and too knackered to be any more inventive! A very full on day with the whole school simultaneously making Christmas tree decorations out of salty dough - 5 tray loads are lined up ready to be baked in my range. It takes it out of you, that kind of thing. Still I've now got a nice long weekend.

No sunrise or sunset today but the little blob in front of the island is quite exciting - it's a Great Northern Diver, recently arrived from somewhere even colder - and he's brought a friend.
