It was "just a trim please!" unadventurous haircut day today, so my fringe has shrunk. I can now see and once again, have a hairstyle similar to a Lego character.

This sunny, nippy afternoon, I went for a walk through Greenwich Park and over to Blackheath village. This is a shot of the Planetarium Cone which is near the Royal Observatory at the top of Greenwich Park. Here is the info (if you are interested in such things!)...

The Peter Harrison Planetarium cone, Greenwich
The Planetarium cone is one of the single largest uses of bronze in the world. It is made from nearly 250 individual plates welded together and patinated to look like one piece. The shape of the cone is related to the stars and is unique to its location in Greenwich.

'Patinated'? Now, that's a new word for me!
