Not quite Chesil beach but I love it!

After a bit of a miserable morning I managed a walk on the beach before the rain came. The sun was in and out of the clouds and I managed to catch this as a short blast of bright light made it from behind a cloud. The bricks were put here as sea defence and I'm told came originally from the post war demolition of bomb damaged houses of Liverpool.
The extra is a small part of the submerged (or in this case not very submerged ) forest which I believed is around 5000 years old.
