Christmas arrives at Canning Circus

Fantabulous sleep last night. that 'can't sleep' programme did the trick! off at 10pm and up at 6.30am, that is an olympic record for me! should've been on hol today, but a change of plan. instead today is my Friday, and off on hols tomorrow instead to pick up pete.

Into work, traffic not that bad, and as i got to Nuthall Island, Ipod on shuffle, Nat 'King' Coles, 'the Christmas song' came on.....do i skip (as i don't really do chrimbo songs until 1st Dec!) or do i play....well, frosty morning, nice and chilled after a great sleep....i play it! Christmas is upon us!

busy busy day ahead, and lots to do. still had time for lunch at the Dragon, Mrs H came in too. the Dragon does lovely food, and the Welsh Rarebit is delicious!

good afternoon at work, lots of loose ends tied up. off home, but first got a little photo mission to do at Canning Circus. i love this tree. to me, when this is lit up, Christmas is well and truly here. as i drive up Derby Road, it stands at the top there for all to see and admire. it's beautiful.

so, tripod, gloves, scarf, and dodgy a few drunk students (isn't it a bit early??!!) i take a few shots either side of the road.

home then, for a final night before Beagle Pete arrives. picking him up tomorrow at 10am, and can't wait!! off now to pick up anything that will be in reach of him!!!
