and they call it....puppy love

ahhhh, so the day finally arrives!! lifes gonna be a little bit different from here on in.

up early doors, and made final preparations for puppy Petes arrival. but, first of all, got me some tickets for Micky Flanagan next November!! went on sale at 9 this morn. can't wait for that!

off to Doncaster to pick the little fella up. get there to find he might have a little bit of a bug, and he's got to have some tablets. he's chipped whilst i'm there, and had his nails clipped. then it's off back down the M1 to home, snoozing on the back seat in the beamer with mum.

finally home and he checks out his new home. he had a good wander around, checking out his toys and his new crate. he quite likes my leather settee (too small to jump on it, but small enough to attempt to chew it! he stops though when he is told!).

he took his first tentative steps outside in the garden, and eventually did a lap of the lawn. Auntie Jean calls in to see him too.

had a really lovely afternoon with him. made a nice fire, and he lay on his bed asleep in front of it. he loved the tele when i switched it on....kept jumping up at it, not sure what he made of it! though he did sleep through most of Deal or No Deal!

teatime and Li and Matt and mum visit again, with chip shop tea!! Pete is pleased to see his visitors! later Big Pete, Greg and Kirsty call in to see him. after they've gone we go a wander down the garden and Pete does his first wee on the lawn!! think the cold and frost made him go!

no, he's back in front of the fire again, and snoozing and i'm watching him, wandering how long i will keep awake! love him so much already! wonder how his first night will go.....
