Amber

A different day.    Meet Amber, who manages the marina where we keep our boat in Montague Harbor.  We went to see about switching slips so she can fit another boat in.  She’s always upbeat and cheerful and capable and I liked this photo of her.   She and her husband just came home from 8 days OFF ISLAND (a rare thing!) in Ireland staying in lovely old castles.  Kind of a late honeymoon… I’m happy for them.   Put the view of our “old slip” taken from the new one in my other journal.   Such calm water…

Then we had to take our boat to the beach at the end of the bay to try to replace the drain plug for the engine extension that had fallen out (!)  Success but it involved H kneeling in cold water with whole arm immersed awhile.…(I would be at a loss on this one…)  A good excuse to light the sauna early!  
Extra.....saw this as we came back to our dock. Been out fishing,.,..
