Up and down day,

Hubby took this photo and sent it to me, as he said, for me to use as my Blip. He had been outside this afternoon for a time clearing the leaves and putting some compost into a couple of garden planters. It was too cold for me to be outside. 
We actually has a flurry of sleet this morning whilst he was in town in the office.  
I decided to begin a painting for a Christmas card and went up to the loft bedroom where I keep all my gear in a cupboard.
   I brought the bits I needed downstairs and looked through possible photos on the laptop to print out, before browsing through a Water Colour Challenge book reminding myself of various techniques. I do this and then still create my own! 
   Having done all that I frustratingly ran out of steam! 
  Never mind. It will be better soon. 
I fell asleep after lunch watching a recording of La Fille Mal Gardee. (There should be an acute accent on the first e of Gardee but I cannot seem to type them on this laptop. 
I could on my other one.) 
It was a Royal Opera House production with the Royal Ballet. At least I can watch it again being a downloaded recording.
