Since 1887. The absolute hub of this little town of Oakland, Stearns Hardware, and its owner, Bill Stearns (here helping Tom, former classmates at Oakland High back in the day) probably fourth generation of Stearns at the hardware store, one of the nicest guys anywhere. One of the benefits of being in a small town.
