Giants On the Way Out

This was the patch of ground we wanted to build our tiny home four years or so ago. It had some open ground, but we mostly loved the giant firs, 80, 100, 120 feet tall. Today, nearly all of them are either dead or dying, victims of the great drought of the West. For those who doubt climate change, like the imposter in the White House, look around. These trees are dying for a reason; these communities and states are burning for a reason.
