Panning

The dog and I went back to the flooded park today to follow ChrisG's advice. We practiced panning, for ages but I didn't find any diamonds or gold - not until we got back to the car, anyway.

Then the sun turned gold and the park lit up. This was taken from the car as I drove out of the car park.

I've been out to dinner in a splendid pub, renowned for its modern English food,.with my mum and some friends this evening, and had a wonderful time.
