Thanksgiving

Had a late start today; it was much needed!

The new Salvation Army officers organised a special thanksgiving get-together at their home, so it was great to go up and share this special holiday with them. We took our new friends Gary and Cecilia with us.

There was a short service followed by a traditional Thanksgiving meal, except it was a buffet. There were also some games, one of which I won, and I was in the winning team for the next one. The picture in my blip is of the third game. A good twist on "tail the donkey", we put feathers on a turkey... :) The "feathers" themselves had individual accounts of what we are thankful for. I am being rotated five times in my blip!
