I Can't Believe You're Leaving Me

Oh, how sad we feel!  We deposited our darling Mabel at the kennel where she will be spending the next two months while we ply the seas around New Zealand and Australia.  Now, before you get all up in arms about putting our little doggie behind bars for so long, rest assured she won't actually be in the kennel -- she will be living in the house of the kennel owners, along with their own three dogs, so she will be loved and spoiled, and hopefully happy as a clam. This morning, however, when we popped her in her crate for the car ride to her temporary digs, she started shaking like an aspen leaf, and looked so heartbreakingly sad.  She clearly knows something is afoot.  I miss her already.
