Squirrel antics.

I finally discovered who was eating the fat balls, a kind of elimination process, as there have been several diners including magpies, robin, jackdaws and coal-tits. 
I noticed this culprit when I was in the kitchen this morning.   
I have some extremely effective squirrel proof feeders in the old apple tree but this particular one is apparently easy to 
breach. 
He eventually spotted me taking the photos from the partly opened back door to the garden.
   We went to a Fundraiser for research into Sepsis this afternoon. The young couple who had organised it had a young 3 year old who had a leg amputated because of it. He could certainly get around the floor and was a delight. He has a prosthetic leg and the pre-school staff where he is due to attend, are having training to ensure they can meet his needs,  like nappy changing. Makes you so thankful for normal health.  
He also has a 4 month old beautiful sister, who just smiled and babbled the whole time we were there. 
So moving. His parents are a young professional couple. 
There are so many people out there, including children, who battle on with tremendous courage.......
