Illumination

After a brief visit this morning I had a proper day off for my birthday. We travelled up to Wyresdale Park in Scorton  to the Crafty Vintage Christmas Market. The stall holders were very pleasant and all seem to want to talk about their wares. We learnt a lot about sea glass! 

We had quite a bit of spare time afterrwards so went on to Barton Grange garden centre for some lunch and a look round before moving on to Astley Hall in Chorley. I has discovered that, for one night only, the council light it up. The hall itself was also open and was candle lit. Best of all, the event was free. It was quite pretty. 

We finished the day with a meal out. A lovely birthday treat.
