Outward bound

The geese set off for the day just as I was leaving for church this morning. The sunlight made it easier than usual to capture them. I loved this formation, which I think looks like a plane. 

Partridge for dinner today, a gift from the local farmer (already plucked and dressed thankfully!) 

Friends from my previous church are coming round for a bit of a party/catch up this evening.
