Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

Mary Doll phoned today. “What is EMP’s bra size?” she enquired.

I said I wasn’t sure and asked why she wanted to know. “I thought I would get her some underwear from La Senza as one of her Christmas presents”.

I flashed forward to the moment on Christmas Day where EMP unwrapped lacy bras and knickers in front of her parents and grandparents and decided to head Mary Doll off at the pass.

I gave her several other ideas for presents* that wouldn’t directly result in the need for several years of therapy.

The look of abject horror on EMP’s face when I told her about the call confirmed that I had done the right thing.

I have single handedly saved Christmas Day and it’s only November. I am like a Christmas super hero.
