Long-tailed fluffball
Today I walked into town via the nature reserve. I hadn't even got the bag of mealworms out of my pocket before I was mugged by a robin, but it was a flock of long-tailed tits who really caught my attention. There was a bunch of them criss-crossing a patch of willow trees, grubbing for insects in the tree bark. I only saw one turn-up, two birds having a fierce altercation about who knows what?
Anyway, I was pleased to bag this shot, even if not perfect. These guys do move so fast. And I think avian cuteness doesn't come much better.
Apart from that, not a lot. Cleaning, reminding myself how Dropbox works and cooking soup. It's enough.
Happy Monday, all xx
