Foggy Day

This was taken at lunchtime on Salford Quays.

We don't tend to see too much fog in this part of the world, but when we get it, boy do we get it.
Yes, that white disc was the sun.

It got progressively worse as the day went on, so by the time I headed home, it was one of the least pleasant journeys I've had in a car since I drove over the Woodhead Pass from Sheffield to Manchester in the dark on a sleeting and snowy night one Christmas about three years ago.

Happy Friday - the weekend has landed. Or I guess it has; I'm not sure. The fog makes it difficult to see anything.
