Blurb book

I’m very happy with my book of our last trip. However a friend brought her South America book to show me and she’s very disappointed. Her photos look slightly out of focus and don’t have contrast - they don’t sing. I felt like that about my Japan book. I don’t know if it is the production of the book. Anybody else has this problem?
