Before and after

Well really, it is “after” on the left, with plate etc in and “before” on the right.

I’m so pleased as Mr Ghosh said it was good enough to have the cast off, and I don’t need a boot. I have to use crutches for 2-4 weeks, and have small physio to do, as there is very little movement in the ankle. Eventually I’ll get more.

He thinks it will be 6 months before I’m rough hill walking. The bad news is I’m almost certain to get arthritis in it as the dislocation scraped away cartilage.

I’m off for a long scented soak in the bath which is what I have looked forward to most of all.
