The wall

This is the section of garden we cleared on Wednesday. As you can see the fire that was so reluctant to start on Thursday is still smoking away today. 
More importantly those aficionados of the blip will remember the building then rebuilding of a wall. The wall here is that wall and to our great relief it is still standing. 
Unfortunately clearing the rest of it of vegetation has revealed the parlous state of other sections of it. Fingers crossed it will last a few years yet. 
Tricia off on another jolly, this time a course Atelier Jardinage au Naturelle followed by more scrabble. My role? I had to drive her there, then fill three dustbins with sheep s**t, then carry them one hundred metres uphill to the car, all in a steady rain. Life is never fair.
