Reggie

I wanted Reggie's whole head,
with those big ears and all.
But he wouldn't stick his head through,
he wouldn't answer my call.

                          OR

"I'll stick my head through the boards,
you can shoot a photo se-quence."
But then old Reg wouldn't do it,
so I shot him through the fence.

                            OR

I asked old Reg for a picture...
to come over for a chat.
But old Reg...he wouldn't do it...
so I shot him through the slats.

Reggie the donkey (burro?) has a club foot, and has to walk with a limp. The owner of the farm has provided him with a good home. Too bad he couldn't teach him the proper way to pose for a picture.
