Our Favorite Turkey

Five little turkeys,
sittin on the couch.
Had their picture taken...
by a camera grouch.

When the picture was taken,
the boy went back to play.
He was tired of eatin poultry...
on this Thanksgiving Day.

I think we had 21 for dinner today. A turkey dinner with all the trimmings, pies with whipped cream for dessert, and...as an added bonus...our Detroit Lions football team found another way to lose a game. They are now 3-8-1.

On Merrick's lap are Mr. and Mrs. Claus...Lego edition. Grandma Lisa bought them for him in preparation for the next holiday, and Merrick and Uncle Allen put them together.
