Cake trial

Trying out a new cake recipe in preparation for a Christmas celebration. Not sure it turned out as I was expecting, but as I’ve never made it before it’s hard to know and there’s no pictures in the kindle version of my cook book. For all you baking experts out there it’s supposed to be Mary Berry’s Cut and come again cake.

Apparently it’s best eaten the day after so I shall wrap it up and put it away... probably...
