Bonenkai

Bonenkai is a Japanese drinking party, which is held to celebrate the end of the year.

You’ll note that in true Japanese tradition this particular event is almost exclusively male... elderly males.

But it was the only woman at the event who was asked to gave the closing speech. Reluctantly... very reluctantly.
