Thursday: Inner Lives

I spent the morning in recruitment interviews, looking for a replacement for my excellent assistant who recently left. One of the candidates kept calling me ‘The Honourable.....’. I have let it be known that henceforth this will be my title.

I was rather taken with this view out of my office. So many unknown people, all with inner lives, all working on so many different things......
