Crossroads
On the way back home from Little River today I decided to turn off the main road and head down towards the Kaituna Golf Club. Passing the club house, I carried on down Jones Rd a little further to where the track cuts back towards Bayley's Rd, the long straight shingle road that follows the spine of Kaitorete spit.
The views today were stunning - proper 'big country' views. The mountains stood snow capped on the horizon, yet seemed so close across Lake Ellesmere.
For this shot though I angled back towards the lush green hills (for now) of Banks Peninsula. If the sunny warm weather continues they'll soon brown off...
