Auckland Skyline

Today we boarded our ship, the Mariner, and just about an hour ago we said farewell to the beautiful city of Auckland, and are now steaming off for our first port of call -- Tauranga -- which we will see tomorrow morning.

Here is the Auckland skyline as we left port under lowering skies threatening rain, but behaving themselves admirably.  Extra shows the Vero building, apparently affectionately referred to by native Aucklanders as "the toilet seat".
