On the hunt

Well, back in North Kessock after a week in Udny Station, Aberdeenshire. Nice to be home as there is always something going on down at the shore. Today I was particularly lucky as there were a few Herons about. The first one I came across was quite skittish and moved as soon as I got anywhere near it, but then I was standing behind a small gorse bush and this beauty came along. He flew in and landed and I didn't make any movement. I don't think he noticed me. once landed he proceeded to walk along the shoreline on those great long legs. He was about 15 metres away. So blip for today sorted!
