River Dee at Tongland

Today's the day …………………… for a different view

There was lovely light on the reedbeds this afternoon as I walked into Kirkcudbright along the banks of the River Dee.

I took this picture and realised that it was actually our house in the background!  In fact, it's the reverse of the view that I see when I look out our bedroom window - if you can work that out? 

And hidden in the shadows to the right of the house you just might be able to see the arches of the Telford Bridge that takes the road over the river.  There's a closer view of it in extras ...……………….
