Victorian style Christmas

We are staying with my brother and sister in law for the weekend near Newcastle.
This morning we visited Cragside a NT house and for the first time they’re opening in the winter season. Some of the rooms have the curtains drawn and it is like it would have been in a winter evening around Christmas in Victorian times. There were even 2 ladies in the kitchen cooking Victorian recipe Christmas biscuits and making mulled wine!
It was very interesting and impressive.
