Light through grasses

It was such a lovely day we had an early lunch and drove to a spot near Speke airport where we did another walk beside the River Mersey. We had hoped to see some more wading birds but those that we did see were too far away to consider photographing. We did see a late butterfly but in the end I thought the light through the grasses was the better option.
