Kingfisher surprise

What a wonderful surprise to see this kingfisher in our garden this morning eyeing up the pond.  It thoroughly cheered me up as it's been a miserable day.  I think I've only ever seen a kingfisher IRL once before and this one was there sitting on the bird feeder posing!

Also really happily surprised to see Davidd and Ukulelehayley at our newly opened brewery in Linton, in the quick half an hour prior to picking up Sam.  What a great place, we'll certainly be back.
