Little foot

I really don't want to feed the whole squirrel population of the area but as I do want to feed the birds, there doesn't seem too much option at the moment.  I feel a bit like the woman in David Copperfield who kept dashing out to shoo away the donkeys.  Have I got that right?  Was that Aunt Betsy or do I need to go back and read it again?  I have repositioned one of the feeders so the squirrels are enjoying themselves learning new skills.  This one seems to be practising one claw pendulous feeding.  Technically known as CPF.
