Mono Monday . . . Deuce

A deuce of birds or doves.  Beside our local council offices are two birds of peace.  They are made from Takaka marble.  They are to commemorate the end of World War Two and our districts commitment to peace.  They were unveiled in 1998.  
I found it hard to get an angle that made it clear to you what they are.  I settled on this one because the background has things happening in it.
