Tiny Tuesday . . . Traditional

The Koru, Maori for loop or coil, is a spiral shape based on the appearance of a new unfurling fern frond.  It is seen in Maori art, carving and tattooing, where it symbolises new life, growth, strength and peace.  
We have had heavy rain and wind this morning so trying to get this image was a distraction.  Two ferns were damaged in the making of this image.
