midwife crisis

still

I took Seb, our language student out for a stroll around the village to get ingredients for him to cook a couple of French dishes tonight. 12 eggs, cream, butter, cheese and pastry required! Death by delicious diary dishes, they were divine and not a morsel left. We went out to dinner at Sheila's and were treated to dinner at the biggest extending table any of us had ever seen. A square table turned into a 20 foot monster, but in wonderful Sheila style required full guest participation in creating the middle 15 foot section . The solution involved using some of the unlaid wooden flooring from the upstairs bathroom! It was like one of those bonding exercises at outward bound centres !!! Dinner was v good and we finished the night with an hilarious game of Articulate.
It was a very still and beautiful afternoon for walking by the shore.
