Phoenix Cinema

Cold today. Brrr.

After doing jobs this morning - including making a batch of cherry and chocolate muffins (yum) - I took myself off to me favourite local cinema to see 'The Master', not a Dr Who extended episode but 'the the film about Scientology'. Powerhouse acting but I found it a little dull.

The Phoenix Cinema is a gem. It is an independent cinema which was built in 1910 and opened in 1912, and is the 2nd oldest continuously-running cinema in the UK. And they serve excellent home-made cake.
