Rain
After queueing for a mere two hours, today I finally managed to enter the Rain Room at London's Barbican Centre. This is an extraordinary installation. Rain falls in a darkened room, lit by a couple of spots, and you are encouraged to walk into the shower. But the amazing thing is, provided you don't move too quickly, you don't really get wet.
It was designed to let users get a sense of what it might feel like to control the elements, and also as a social experiment to explore how people interact with the installation. And I was lucky to be there on one of the rare days that there were dancers performing to a specially commissioned score in the rain.

Powerful stuff!
