Drowned World

Evening all,

I foolishly lent doofus to my wife today, knowing that i didn't need it and had a 'quiet' day planned....

nope.

Got a call to go out to place called Owston Ferry, and worked out a clear route, got
very close but couldn't find the actual street,

no problem, buy an a-z.

Went to a petrol station, who didn't sell an a-z at all. had a little paddy but ok, will go to a newsagent..

who didn't sell an a-z, bigger paddy, becoming a problem due to time, but go to the library..

library closed until 2pm....paddy time again, time becoming precious now...soooo
i went to the police station, no answer at the door, rang the bell, hammered on the door, pressed the emergency only button to speak to anybody....

Nothing, no answer, nil, ziltch,nada. The Epworth police were not at
home to callers.

Mad now, stormed off after making rude gestures to the police security cameras, leapt in car and drove off.

An hour later i found it for myself, then found that the route i'd planned to go back was going to be a bit more tricky too!
