True to the forecast the day got better and better - so Missy got two walks out on the fell.
Firstly we dodged showers up to a spectacular Cautley Spout (really should have remembered the camera) on the Eastern flanks of the Howgills. Then after a snooze for Missy in the van (she seems to love the cars) whilst I swam a relatively fast mile. A light lunch with Mrs IttH and then a new computer bought. It's always an irritant, but the desktop pc has lasted a goodly while, and I've managed to get all the not cloud based data off it. Tomorrow will be wasted setting up it's replacement though, grrr. Driving back from Kendal the Western Howgills were simply radiant, so we pulled over and had a wander onto Birk Knott to admire them.
