“What the deuce?”
Well, it an old piece of sculpture of mine now used as a hat stand.
John Edwards certainly kicked off his month’s challenges for MonoMonday with deuce, a difficult one.
I struggled to find something to illustrate it.
The dictionary says the word originates from the late 15th century Old French word deus meaning “two” which is derived from the Latin duos.
It is also used as a slang word. So I have hedged my bets and used both. Hope one fits the challenge.
Thanks to John Edwards for hosting it.
