Day One: 8 o'clock

First day in the december photo challenge today. Ive roped my cousin, mum, aunt and some friends in too. I love seeing all our interpretations of each day's word.

Up early to take J to work. The sunrise was incredible but I couldn't catch it while I was driving and it was pretty much over by the time it was safe to pull over. Honestly, a great start to the day. May never see colours quite like that again.

Baked some cakes before lunch and headed out to the school Christmas fete. L doesn't normally like strangers or having her photo taken but she was very happy to see Father Christmas and accept a gift from him.

With the sun going down, we headed to stony Stratford for the switch on of their lights. They do a parade with lanterns that children have made during the day. They were great, my personal favourite was the one of a shark eating Father Christmas :-)

My aunt owns the flower shop in the town so we always come to see her on this day. It's our annual event.

We grabbed some chip shop chips on the way home and my belly is still full while I watch Christopher Baloney murder another song on Xfactor.
