Swimming this morning then down to Edinburgh with the entire family to take a look around before the Christmas shopping hordes get completely out of control! We met up with a friend for lunch at Cafe Andaluz which was very nice (especially the chorizo and black pudding), had a wander along George Street looking at the improbably expensive shops, went to Jenners to see the Christmas tree, watched people being flung about and enjoyed the gothic shapes of Edinburgh.

That James Clark Maxwell is a right dodgy geezer; he may have been responsible for formulating the laws of electromagnetics but he's still being watched... or maybe someone is watching the birds to make sure he's not too covered in droppings.
