Dieu et mon Droit

An all morning meeting at Worsley Courthouse, away from the workplace. I had my back to a fireplace, above which sat the royal and other smaller heraldic shields.

Seven of us around a round table. A good discussion, and an important one. This coming year is going to have its challenges, but we’re getting some clarity about how to face some of them.

The Courthouse was built as the Court Leet, or Manor Court, for Francis Egerton, first Earl of Ellesmere, in 1849. These days it is owned by the City Council, and used as a wedding and events venue.
