Fruit and Veg

Grey and rainy again here in the East Midlands today. We had a walk into town and then onto the park nonetheless, stopping off at the farmer's market. We were pleased to see that, in the brassica department alone, our allotment should save us the princely sum of £20 provided that we eat our cabbages before something else does. Thank goodness we garden mainly for the pleasure of it! We bought some delicious pies to freeze and consume with our veg as and when!
