Twenty-two

It will be Milly's birthday on Monday and today she travelled up to Kirkby Lonsdale with Hannah and Charlie for a bit of a celebration. They were due to arrive late afternoon, which gave me the opportunity to do a bit of last minute birthday shopping in Lancaster with the Minx. 

That done, and after we'd enjoyed a quick Christmas drink in the Fair on Dalton Square, I headed home to make a cake which was a work in progress when the girls arrived. It was so lovely to have them home! (Although it did make me miss Izzy a bit more.)

In the evening, we met up with Dan and Abi and had a birthday curry at the marvellous curry house in Kirkby Lonsdale. And even though we all ate well, there was still room for birthday cake :-)
